He was the only person other than Chris Gayle to have made more than 20 centuries and still playing in the field. Also, he made his 20 centuries faster than any other cricketer before him. The record was earlier held by Sachin Tendulkar who made it in 197 innings. But Virat Kohli made it in just 133 innings.


Another fact that points out Virat Kohli is a master class batsman and is consistently performing is that he is the only player other than Dhoni, Saurav and Sachin to make 1000 runs for 3 consecutive years in ODI.


He was not just the fastest cricketer to reach 20 centuries, he was also the fastest cricketer to make 1000 runs and even 5000 runs in ODI. In fact, he shares the record for reaching 5000 runs faster in international cricket with Sir Vivian Richards.


Virat Kohli was not just respected and loved for his way of playing. He was equally famous for his looks and dressing sense. Apart from being the most admired men among the cricketers, he was also chosen as the top ten well dressed men globally in the year 2012.


The current test captain and deputy ODI captain Virat Kohli is also probably one of the very few Indian cricketers to sport a tattoo. He has a golden dragon tattooed on his forearm and he says it is to bring him luck. This has definitely been true as can be seen from his performance.
